The reason we have named this one after Kelvin is that organising the UK’s biggest search conference takes a lot of organisational skills and this update is all about tidying up and organising the data in the back end of our system.
A focus on accuracy and trust
In the update we have focussed on making the algorithm more accurate on well known and trusted domains and we have increased its sensitivity towards signals of trust within some domains and domain types.
This is not as big an update as the recent ‘Grehan‘ update but we would advise you to consider a rescan of your profiles to take advantage if you have a large profile where there are many links from trusted sources.

And because its a LinkRisk Dance and we like to have some fun… we have a competition for you 🙂
The person who can send us the best short video of Mr Kelvin Newman dancing at the BrightonSEO after party will win a months free use of LinkRisk on a basic profile and give us all a chuckle… I suggest watching out if he heads to the Funky Fish nightclub as that will be a GOLDEN opportunity to grab a vid.
